The two Frutt Trains are a very special summer highlight for visitors of all ages.
Anyone not wishing to walk to Tannalp from the upper terminus of the Melchsee-Frutt cableway or vice versa can take the Frutt Train at one of the stops. On the way, you can admire the alpine flora and listen to the stories about the plateau. It’s quite possible that an angler will make the catch of his or her life in one of the two lakes and land a particularly large lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush)
Melchsee-Frutt is on a high plateau. Discover the picturesque high alp with flowering meadows, clear spring water, pure mountain air, unmistakable peaks and deep blue mountain lakes
In summer, look forward to tackling the multitude of cycling trails and footpaths. Keen anglers are in for a treat at Melchsee-Frutt with its three deep-blue mountain lakes. Aside from dizzying views of Lake Melch, the viewing platform almost 40metres above the lake offers a spectacular mountain panorama.
