Let yourself be seduced by the magic of nature while snowshoeing on the Riedalp Trail away from the hustle and bustle and everyday stress. The view of the local mountain Hahnen from the Engelberg sunny side is breathtaking.

The free sports bus takes you from Engelberg railway station to the Brunni valley station, where you take the cable car to Ristis. The 2.9 km long Riedalp snow shoe trail begins here at the mountain station in an easterly direction. You start on the winter hiking trail "Schneetandliweg" along the edge of the forest to the Ried. From this vantage point the view of the Hahnen is breathtaking. From there it goes up first over an open field then along the forest. Back to the starting point, the trail leads past the game rest zones, parallel to the panorama trail back to the mountain restaurant Ristis. Return to the village by train.

The snowshoe trail can also be walked in the opposite direction.
