Glaubenbielen is a gateway to a cultural landscape that is extremely varied in terms of landscape and alpine economy.
From the Glaubenbielen pass car park, the little road leads northwards to the Ribiseeli lake, an amphibian habitat of national importance. In the catchment area of the Gross Laui, a feared torrent in the valley, the painstakingly renovated Prügel path leads alternately through fens and scattered forest over the Unterwengen and Ror alps to Loo. Here, the path climbs up over the alp to Looegg. The varied ridge path then leads southwards to the Haldimattstock. The ascent to the alt. 1792 m Haldimattstock is rewarded with magnificent all-round views. Following the flat ridge, the path branches down to Nünalp and over the Heimegg to Rotspitz. From there it's a steep descent to the alp huts of Glaubenbielen. The little alp restaurant there is a good place to stop off for a bite to eat and some refreshment.
