Fürstein Langis

From the Berghotel Langis, the path leads along the road to the Glaubenberg pass. Immediately behind the little restaurant on the pass, the ascent begins to the left or right of the Rotbach in the scattered forest up to Alp Rick and from there up the steep summit slope to the cross on the Rickhubel. From there, the path traces a wide curve on a plateau to the north-east ridge of the Fürstein, which is reached via a short steep flank. The distant views of the alpine crown and as far as the Jura are mindblowing. After a short ridge descent southwards, the path leads to the chapel at Obersewen and past the Sewenseeli lake to the saddle at Sewenegg. After that, the route is varied on easy slopes and through scattered pine forest back via Schnabel to the Langis car park.

If you do not want to climb all the way to Fürstein, you can turn left on the plateau and descend directly to Ober Sewen and the chapel.
