Directions
From Stansstad bay, the trail goes through the impressive "Rotzschlucht" (gorge) up to Betti. Then the path runs on a field path north past the Drachenflue to Vorderrüti. Then follows the descent to Eichiried. At the end it goes through the nature reserve with reed-covered bays (orientation signs) to Alpnachstad train station. From there you can take the train back to Stansstad and treat yourself to a fine dessert at the Hotel & Restaurant zum Beck in Stansstad.
