Bürglen lido

Small, pretty and open to the public!

Heading towards Kaiserstuhl, Bürglen lido is only five minutes' drive or some 25 minutes' cycle ride from Lungern. Not as sophisticated as Lungern lido, it's nonetheless just as charming and idyllic.
If you like peaceful surroundings and don't mind spartan facilities or limited amenities, then this is a perfect little lido for you. It's a good idea to go there early in the morning, since it can get packed around midday if the weather's nice.
Admission is free, but a small voluntary contribution in the coin box helps the lido staff look after and maintain the facilities.
