Fräkmünt

Hiking on the Drachenberg or Dragon Mountain, as Mount Pilatus is also called, makes you hungry. The good news is that the footpath passes right by an idyllic picnic spot. The covered one at Fräkmünt is a real insider tip, and a Rolls Royce among barbecue spots - summer downpours are no problem there. Solid wooden tables and benches provide comfortable seating, and the in all there are four separate barbecue facilities. Sausages, vegetable kebabs, Swiss chicken breasts and marinated soya patties can be grilled on separate grills. Why do it this way?
