MOTEL7 was founded in 2010 in Thun. The band name is based on the name of the
popular motel chain Motel 6 from the 60/70s in the American western states.
A "no frills" overnight stay at that time cost $6.99. This made it possible for the American
people to become more mobile. This "road trip feeling" can be felt in the songs of MOTEL7. Stories from the American everyday life are told.
The five heart and soul musicians delight their audience on stage with a lot of joy in playing,
musical variety and an unmistakable groovy sound.
