Melchsee-Frutt boasts the largest fun park in Central Switzerland, comprising up to 40 attractions such as kickers, rails, boxes, spins, drop-ins, tree rides and many more. www.fruttpark.ch

It has several ski lifts and easy runs for beginners, while experienced skiers can take to the wide and at times challenging higher slopes. The seven installations and 14 km of slopes are between alt. 1350 and 1850 m. www.moerlialp.ch

The Zinsli Kinderland has a learning carousel, magic carpet and two practice lifts, allowing the little ones to learn how to ski or snowboard in a playful way for just CHF 6. Use of the carousel is free.
