Uf dr Wildi is the name of the new adventure playground at Melchsee-Frutt. This unique facility for children opened in summer 2020: there’s lots to discover.

The cable car takes you from Stöckalp up to the high plateau of Melchsee-Frutt at alt. 1920 m. It’s a short walk from the new terminus of the Melchsee-Frutt cableways to the old one, where you reach the latest attraction: the Uf dr Wildi playground. There’s so much to discover: in the “alp village”, children find a barn with a tunnel slide, swings, a ropeway, a fountain, a lake and many other highlights or they can let off steam building stone cairns or on the mountain climbing circuit, the Wakel-Schilter attraction or at the Chäsli game. The numerous seats and the barbecue spot invite the whole family to linger.

If the kids still have energy left after exploring and letting off steam in the playground, it’s worth taking a trip along the Fruttli-Weg adventure trail. This starts right by the “marmot cave” in the Uf dr Wildi playground. The children learn all about the life of the marmot as they follow the trail and visit the 10 staging posts.
