Observing wildlife on the Schönbüel

Observing wildlife is a real insider tip and is organised by the Bärghuis Schönbüel under the direction of Peter Gasser. The 360° panorama views on the Schönbüel are unique.

Programme

• In the afternoon, take the Lungern-Turren cable car to the upper terminus.
• Participants make their own way up to the Berghaus Schönbüel – the path is well signposted and there are several alternatives, either directly or via Dundel - Mändli.
• A-la-carte dinner at the Bärghuis Schönbüel and preliminary information by local guide and hunter Peter Gasser.
• Early start (equipped with binoculars provided by the Bärghuis Schönbüel) into the surroundings
• Afterwards a fortifying breakfast with alp cheese, muesli, fresh bread baked in the Bärghuis, jam, honey and, if desired, a "Cheli” (coffee and schnapps)
• Participants make their own way down to the Turren terminus for the cable car to Lungern.
