Culinary trail by Lake Sarnen

Treat yourself to delicacies from the region at four traditional Obwalden hostelries and enjoy the valley at its best.

The 10 km or so trail leads from Sarnen via Sachseln to Giswil. Walking along Lake Sarnen, your gaze takes in the mountains from ever-changing perspectives. You can take the Zentralbahn railway back to your starting point. The trail is easy and requires no particular level of fitness. It’s also suitable for wheelchair users and strollers.
