Offering bright, homely double and multi-bed rooms, the Berggasthaus Tannalp is situated on a high plateau in a valley with an east-west orientation, so it gets a lot of sun. As early as January, you can enjoy more than 6 hours a day of sun in a quiet, relaxing setting.

Summer: The Melchsee-Frutt holiday resort is car-free. A one way traffic flow is in operation at alternating times on the road between Stöckalp and Melchsee-Frutt: please note the times. There is a fee-paying car park at Melchsee-Frutt. You may prefer to leave your car in the car park at the lower terminus of the Stöckalp aerial cableway and take the cableway to Melchsee-Frutt. The Frutt Road Train provides a shuttle service between Melchsee-Frutt and Tannalp.

Winter: the road to the lower terminus of the Stöckalp aerial cableway is kept clear of snow. Visitors should then take the cableway to Melchsee-Frutt. Luggage transport between Melchsee-Frutt and Tannalp can be arranged.
