    Alphütte Chilchschwand, Ramersberg (Sarnen)

    The old-style, simply furnished Chilchschwand alp hut is situated on the farm itself. Situated in an idyllic and quiet location at alt. 1000 m, the hut offers glorious views of the mountains. Although not all that central, it's only a 10-minute drive from the railway station in Sarnen.

    Cooking is done on the wood stove in the kitchen, while the tiled stove in the cosy parlour provides the heating (electrical alternatives are available). The farm is home to a herd of suckler cows and various small animals. The stable door is open to the visitors, who are welcome to watch or help with the daily work.
